2014, oh yes I remember, it was a quite lousy year in metal. There were some highlights though.
Slipknot returned with a new album, stuck their heads in the noose...

Always when the year comes to an end, it is time to sit down and think of all the fine fine music that was
produced by all the disciples of Satan. Some deserve a little extra attention...

2012 was a swinging year, something really special. The Church of Rock n' Roll... Bah, humbug! Everyone knows who is the greatest of them all and doesn't carry a white nightgown... 

Knights in Satans Service... Well that's more like it! I want it loud, and it goes like this!

2011 was and interesting year indeed. We had a full blown china syndrome in Fukushima, Japan and Metal was melting all over. A small crack between earth and something warmer was open there for a little moment.

And finally that Usama was found and brought to instant justice. Die m*** f*** die!

The year of Deepwater Horizon indeed! It was the year of the black, black gold, the oil rig Deepwater Horizon started to lead enormous amounts of oil. Not on the water surface but deep down in the abyss. The Mexican Gulf was floodded with oil by Brittish Petroleum.

2009 was the year when we got a fe new interesting leaders in place. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected president in Iran, the people were not to happy about the result of the election and there was quite a bit of protesting going on int the streets of the eight million city, Teheran.

Well done!

 2008 was the year that JEff Singer left Paradise Lost and Jonas Åkerfelt rejoined Bloodbath. An interesting year indeed as Peter Wicherts decides to return back home to his mates in Soilwork.

Soilwork, it is easy to hear the rumbling sounds of the Nordic abyss.

The doomsday clock was set to five minutes to midnight this year. My fellow earthlings are anxious kill each other and it utters itself in many shapes. Many countries have nuclear ambitions but my dear friends in North Korea finally blows a nuclear bomb.
