Nazareth is a band that never really gained the recognition they were worth, the largest hit was the ballad Love Hurts, a track that wasn't their own.
We firmly believed that the rejuvenated Nazareth of the twenty first century merely were an echo from the previous millennium that would last for just about a second.
Obviously we were wrong since they have decided to release "Big Dogz". Nazareth back in the day recorded quite a lot of good songs and albums like "Razmanaz", "Expect No Mercy" and "Hair of the Dog" are really solid albums.
Surprisingly enough Nazareth anno 2011 stand strong and the voice of Dan McCafferty still sound fantastic as ever. Well, it still sound like he has downed a liter of chlorine before opening his mouth.
Big Dogz really is a continuation of what Nazareth made ages ago and we just love it. Everything breathes Nazareth, the songs, the arrangements and of course the ballsy style that they always has possessed.
Nazareth is back for sure!
Welcome maggot you are awaited.
Hi there, things are shifting around ever so slowly here at Heavy Hell, we do what we want in the pace we feel is appropriate.
Lately we have migrated the entire site to a brand new code platform, This will allow us to do awesome things that up until now have been utterly impossible. The bad thing is that the news updates will be random at best for a while.
